Welcome to Styled by Lynnie. (SbL) I'm back yet again and hopefully for good. Last time I fell off the blogging grid I decided if I ever picked it up again I'd do it for me and I'd do it for my readers. I wanted to bring something new to the blogging world but felt that with thediamonddays I lost my unique spin. I'm going to do a video soon to explain myself and what I want to accomplish through my blog so look for that soon! For now, I'm going to show you how my blog has changed and how it will work from now on!
Today's Energy: I felt very fashionable today. I wanted to style something that was very different, yet still very wearable and comfortable.
I work in a retail shop, so I have to be styled but I like to be comfortable. I also like to wear practical pieces because I am moving around a ton, on my feet for hours, reaching, lifting, and so on. It gets quite cold as well so I like to wear sleeves or a sweater. Clients will often comment on my outfits so I like to wear clothing from my store. This also motivates me to wear things that are versatile and timeless so that I can show my clients how they could wear them to fit their own style.
I chose a 3/4 sleeve navy blouse and grey cropped pants with cream piping from Loft Outlet. Both pieces are super timeless and classic and can be worn so many different ways. I paired it with my Kendra Scott necklace and my Alex and Ani bracelets. You can shop a couple very similar necklaces here and here and the exact bracelets here and here . For shoes, I chose my white Vans you can find here. You'll find that I'll be wearing Vans quite often. I'm a firm believer that there is a pair of Vans out there for every outfit and every wardrobe.
These pants are so easily styled with an oversized T or a cute tank. I also love pairing these with tennis shoes to get a street stlye effect that I just love.
I'm still going to show you my outfits. I'm still going to talk about fashion and ways to style. But most importantly, I really want to empasize personal stlye, preference and uniqueness. Each person has their own style and instead of copying me, I want you to look at my blog as inspo for your style canvas. I want to create a culture on my blog that encourages people to create looks that fit their personal style and make them feel confident. I want to help you feel empowered to curate the perfect style for yourself. This blog is about our journey to find our style and let it reflect who we are. I'm so excited to keep curating and learning my style while helping all of you create yours!
Soon there will be a detailed information video for you all explaining my goals for my blog and a whole lot of other stuff! If you are new and confused (or you aren't new but you're still confused) check out my about page here! I hope you are all as excited as me to be back on my blogging journey with me! See you on my next post!
